Dickinson's 1983 Gold Cup is the most extraordinary training feat in the race's history: he saddled the first five horses home, with Bregawn leading in Captain John, Wayward Lad, Silver Buck and Ashley House. He had won the race the year before with Silver Buck, and Badsworth Boy dominated the Champion Chase for his yard in the same period.
Those wins came between 1982 and 1984, in the Queen Mother Champion Chase 3 times and the Cheltenham Gold Cup 2 times.
Winner counts only. Because the archive holds the first four home rather than full fields, these are not strike rates.
