Champion Bumper trends
A flat race at a jumps festival, run by horses who have never jumped in public, which makes it the hardest race of the week to assess on form. Even so, no winner in the last five years started bigger than 15/2.
The value is in what comes next. Jasmin De Vaux won the 2024 Bumper and returned to win the 2025 Albert Bartlett, and Facile Vega's 2022 win came with a level of hype few bumper horses attract. Willie Mullins has taken two of the five, and the 2026 running went to Noel Meade with The Mourne Rambler.
Champion Bumper winners on file: The Mourne Rambler, Bambino Fever, Jasmin De Vaux, A Dream To Share, Facile Vega. The market has been a poor guide here, with only 1 of the last 5 winners going off favourite. The biggest-priced winner in that time was The Mourne Rambler at 15/2 in 2026.
